Nursing, Master of Science or Post-Master's Certificate

Applications instructions and forms

There are two admission options for the Master of Science degree program in nursing: RN-MS and MS. RN-MS applicants have either an associate degree or diploma in nursing. They do not have a bachelor’s degree in nursing. MS applicants have a bachelor’s degree in nursing. Applicants to the Post-master’s certificate programs must have a master’s degree in nursing.

Application deadlines

Spring - September 15
Summer or Fall - February 1

The following programs accept students spring, summer and fall terms:

- Adult Health Nursing CNS/NP
- Child Health Nursing CNS/PNP
- Family Nurse Practitioner

The following programs accept new students only in the Fall Semester:

- Perinatal/Women's Health CNS/WNP
- Psychiatric/Mental Health NP
- Nursing Leadership in Healthcare Innovations

You may check the status of your application online by choosing “Admissions Status” at student.gosolar.gsu.edu. Please allow three weeks after submitting your application to check its status. If you are unable to access your application status, please contact the Office of Academic Assistance.

NOTICE

The on-line, electronic system, ApplyYourself, is not active at this time.
The ApplyYourself system is expected to be reactivated late-June to early-July.

If you wish to apply to a future term prior to the reactivation of the ApplyYourself system,
you will need to choose and following the instructions for the Paper Application option.
