I love nursing. I don’t think there is any other profession where you can have such a positive impact on people’s lives. Nursing Education allows me to exponentially affect lives through the students I teach.

Clinical Expertise
I am a certified Rehabilitation Nurse with an interest in neurology and orthopedic nursing. I functioned as a Director of rehabilitation and surgical nursing for over 6 years in the Atlanta area.
 
Research Interests
I am interested in qualitative research. I currently have a project funded by the Association of Rehabilitation nurses examining the hopes and expectations of care givers and nurses of acquired brain injury patients.  My dissertation involved examining the lived experiences of rehabilitation nurses in respect to providing spiritual care for their patients.
